2013 Epoch Awards Nominee: Jeff Huey of Seeds
We’re humbled to announce that our own Jeff Huey has been nominated for the 2013 Epoch Awards, which honor unsung heroes who are committed to helping those across the world to “serve where poverty, drought, HIV/AIDS, sex trafficking, homelessness, and fear reign.” You can view the 2013 Epoch Awards nominee list here.
Below are some ways that Seeds Coffee Co commander cialis quebec. would use the grant.
Fund Missions and Local Ministry in Birmingham, AL
Receiving this grant would allow Seeds Coffee Co. to further our vision and influence through the resource of coffee – helping to fund mission efforts and local ministry in the Birmingham community.
In all that we do, we desire to keep Christ at the center; therefore, receiving the grant would be confirmation from the Lord that we are doing what we feel we have been called to do and will help us to take the next step in living Christ-centered lives.
Support International Missions
In addition to increasing our local missions, the grant will help us to better reach those in areas such as Sumatra. Currently, we are helping farmers in Sumatra provide for their families by providing fair wages that often exceed fair trade margins. Receiving this grant will help us to continue mission work that we have already started in Sumatra – even helping missionaries who are already in the field.
Give Back to Those Who Have Served
Along with furthering our ministry efforts locally and internationally, the grant would help provide an income to our volunteer workers who have dedicated countless hours to helping with everything from building construction and the opening of Seeds Coffee Co. to showing Christ in their interactions with our customers – our family in Christ. Without their commitment, support, and continued hard work and dedication, Seeds Coffee Co. would not be where it is today.
Jeff is honored to receive this nomination and is greatly appreciative of the continued support of Seeds Coffee Co. and the help with spreading Christ’s love to those in unreached areas locally and internationally.
